District Arts Night

Once again, our students and Visual and Performing Arts teachers put on a wonderful evening for everyone at the May 27th District Arts Night.  Thank you to all of the families, friends, and Bonny Eagle staff who came out to support the talent that is abundant in MSAD #6!

5th Grade Riddler

I received this from one of our teachers today and wanted to share...

The teacher had a student come to her and say, "Can I tell you a riddle I made up last night?"  She said "Sure," and the student said, "When your ideas grow, I get shorter.  What am I?"  The answer was... your pencil!  Talk about a kid who gets that idea production usually involves writing/recording in some way!

WHAT A NIGHT!!!

The 30th Annual District Writing Contest Writer's Tea was held Wednesday night, April 29th.  Our pre-K through 8th graders (and some staff!) were honored as winners with ribbons, copies of this year's published book, and a round of applause from the audience.  Thank you to all who made this possible---the teachers, the administrators, the parents and families, our contest representatives and writer's tea volunteers, the building custodians, and the district office support staff.

Click here to see this year's book!

A welcome from Assistant Superintendent Charles Lomonte.

8th grade teacher Mike Morong had the honor of reading the names of the winners.
